We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Neosho County, Kansas. Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
