Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Bristol County, Rhode Island. You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
