UPVC door and window fabricator • Spencer County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Spencer County, Kentucky. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine The role involves wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
