Foundry operative • Winkler County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Winkler County, Texas. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills Full-time with occasional weekends.
