Machinist • Etung, Cross River State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Etung, Cross River State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₦295,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
