You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
