HSE officer wanted in McMinn County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE officer in McMinn County, Tennessee. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
