Join our team: we are hiring a panel beater in Santa Barbara County, California. You will be based at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Day-to-day duties: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
