Urgent requirement: ladle pourer (Kano State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Tudun Wada, Kano State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦10,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
