Join our team: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Ford County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement What we are looking for: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills 5+ years on the tools preferred.
