Site safety steward • Yolo County, California

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Yolo County, California. The job is at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Part-time with flexible hours.
