Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Foard County, Texas. You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
