Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mason's helper in Grant County, Kansas. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Your main tasks: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
