We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Franklin County, Kansas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. On the job you will handle: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Six days a week, one day off.
