Gas installation technician — Placer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Placer County, California. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Rotating shifts.
