Scaffolding charge hand wanted in Clackamas County

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Clackamas County, Oregon. The job is at a shipyard. Requirements: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Your main tasks: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
