Immediate opening: we are hiring a flat roof installer in Allegany County, New York. What we are looking for: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Willing to work outdoors in all weather The role involves strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; insulate and ventilate the roof void; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar.
