The role involves form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank.
