Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Cumberland County, Kentucky. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
