Turning centre operator wanted in Lewis and Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Lewis and Clark County, Montana. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
