Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a road and highway construction project. On the job you will handle: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
