Prep cook — Sonoma County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Sonoma County, California. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards You will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; prepare the mise en place before each service. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
