Argon welder • Stafford County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Stafford County, Virginia. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
