Urgent requirement: CO2 welder (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Page County, Iowa. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
