Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Rotating shifts.
