GMAW welder wanted in Hampshire County

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Hampshire County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
