Mechanical press operator • Orleans County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Orleans County, New York. You will work at an auto components factory. Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
