On a typical shift you will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
