Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
