We are recruiting: long-haul driver (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Pope County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid digital tachograph card Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
