Vehicle spray painter • Saint Louis County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Saint Louis County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy body shop. You should have: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Your main tasks: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
