Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Woodford County, Illinois. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
