Vacancy available: steel fixer (Plateau State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Riyom, Plateau State. You will be based on a busy residential building site. The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
