TIG welder — Buffalo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Buffalo County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
