Civil works labourer • Hunt County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Hunt County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
