Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Osceola County, Michigan. The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Full-time with occasional weekends.
