Sand plant operator • Gaya, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gaya, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Full-time, day shift.
