Cement mason — City and Borough of Wrangell

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet On a typical shift you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
