Hoist operator • Sir Powys, Wales

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Sir Powys, Wales. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
