Body shop technician • Hood River County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a body shop technician in Hood River County, Oregon. You will be based in a collision repair centre. The role involves: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
