Milling machinist • Vernon County, Wisconsin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Vernon County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Full-time with occasional weekends.
