Slinger signaller — Hood River County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Hood River County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
