Brick and block layer • Conejos County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Conejos County, Colorado. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
