Join our team: health and safety supervisor (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Burke County, North Carolina. You will work at a manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
