Urgent requirement: plant operator (dozer) (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Bremer County, Iowa. The job is on a road construction project. Day to day you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 2+ years on the tools preferred.
