Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Siskiyou County, California. The job is at a road-building project. Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines.
