Great opportunity: LGV Class 1 driver (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Dawson County, Texas. The job is at a logistics warehouse. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Confident with manual handling and load securing Day to day you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
