Metal caster • Callahan County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Callahan County, Texas. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
