Estate gardener — District of Rutland

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in District of Rutland, England. Day to day you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
