The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
